Explore the magical islands you will visit aboard Sipakatau Phinisi. Each stop offers a unique adventure from pink beaches to dragon encounters.
KELOR ISLAND
Ancient sailors called it "The Guardian." Dutch colonials built watchtowers on its crown. Local legend says it's a giant sea turtle turned to stone. A 20-minute climb rewards you with 360° views of dragon territories. The coral gardens below hide patrolling sea turtles in crystal shallows.
MANJERITE
Every sunset, tens of thousands of flying foxes launch from mangroves, creating a black river across orange skies. Ancient sea nomads believed these bats carried souls to the afterlife. Watch from your deck at 17:30. The sky will erupt. You'll forget to breathe.
PADAR ISLAND
Three crescent bays—turquoise, cobalt, jade—curve around dragon-spine ridges. Legend says a dragon princess died here protecting her brothers. Her body became the ridgeline. Her tears became three seas. The 30-minute climb is ruthless, but every explorer says: "I can die now."
PINK BEACH
One of only seven pink beaches on Earth. Microscopic red coral creates a rose-gold blush. Sailors once feared it was cursed by dragon blood. The reef drops from knee-deep to 50 meters—turtles, reef sharks, and octopi patrol waters so clear you'll think you're dreaming.
KOMODO ISLAND
Ground zero. The throne. Komodo dragons—largest lizards on Earth, unchanged for 4 million years. They sprint 20 km/h, kill with venom-laced bites. Trek with armed rangers. Watch them sun like kings. Feel evolution stare back. This isn't a zoo. It's their Kingdom
TAKA MAKASSAR
A sandbar that emerges at low tide, then disappears beneath waves. Sea nomads called it "Ghost Island"—a resting place for ocean spirits. Stand in the middle of the ocean with ankle-deep water. Snorkel where the island vanishes. Your private Maldives, but only for 2 hours.
MANTA POINT
A submerged pinnacle where currents collide, creating a cleaning station for manta rays with 7-meter wingspans. Divers call them "Royal Stingrays"—reincarnated ocean kings. The taboo: look, never touch. Watch them barrel-roll beneath you. Swimming with mantas IS your bucket list.
GILI LAWA
Twin islands—Lawa Darat and Lawa Laut—frame the golden highway between sky and sea. Ancient traders navigated by these peaks. At sunrise, watch the world ignite from savannah ridges. At sunset, the sky bleeds into three shades of fire. The 30-minute trek is steep, but the 360° view makes kings jealous.
SLABA ISLAND
Slaba rises like a fortress from deep blue—a volcanic dome crowned with savannah where white-bellied sea eagles hunt. Bajo fishermen call it "Pulau Rajawali" (Eagle Island), believing the birds are guardians of hidden treasures below. Dive the walls where currents deliver big fish, sharks, and swirling barracuda. Above: eagles. Below: an underwater avalanche of life.
SEBAYUR ISLAND
Sebayur guards one of Komodo's best-kept secrets: untouched coral gardens teeming with life. While others chase dragons, divers chase legends here—pygmy seahorses, ghost pipefishes, and macro critters hiding in soft coral forests. The bay is a natural aquarium. The hillside trek offers sunrise views without the Padar crowds.
KANAWA ISLAND
While crowds chase Pink Beach, explorers slip to Kanawa—pristine coral reefs, zero crowds. Fishermen once avoided it, believing the Sea Goddess protected these waters. The reef here is 80% live coral. Turtles nest on beaches. Blacktip sharks patrol shallows. This is the Komodo nobody talks about.
SABOLO ISLAND (RANGKO CAVE)
Hidden in Sabolo's limestone cliffs lies Rangko Cave—a saltwater cavern illuminated by a ceiling skylight. Sunbeams pierce the darkness, turning water neon blue. Local legend says bathing here grants courage to face dragons. Swim through the entrance tunnel. Surface inside the cathedral. Float in liquid sapphire while light dances on ancient rock.
BIDADARI ISLAND
Bidadari" means angel in Indonesian. One glance explains why. Powdery white sand. Turquoise shallows. Zero crowds. Fishermen say angels rest here between monsoons, leaving footprints in the sand that waves erase by dawn. Snorkel the fringing reef where baby blacktips patrol. This is your castaway fantasy—pristine, peaceful, perfect.

Sipakatau Phinisi jadi tempat perfect untuk melepas penat setelah busy year. Dengan suami, we needed something that’s both romantic dan a little adventurous. The service was intuitive; crew nggak nongol tiba-tiba, tapi always there when needed. Kabin king bed-nya super comfortable, dan linen-nya high-thread count. One thing: lebih lama di Crystal Rock would’ve been nice — 45 menit terasa cepat. Tapi overall, the rhythm of the trip was balanced: active days, slow evenings. They even arrange couples’ massage di bawah stars. This wasn’t just a holiday — it was a reset button. We came back calmer, closer, and tan.

The staff ngerti banget kalau kita butuh quiet time, jadi mereka nggak ganggu. For a family with kids, this is not just vacation, tapi bonding experience.

Group of 8 friends dari Jakarta dan Bandung, semua agreed — this was the most elegant way to celebrate. Sunrise hike di Padar Island? Worth every drop of sweat. Pemandangannya cinematic, seperti drone shot dari atas. Back on board, mereka surprise us with cake dan champagne di rooftop deck. Tapi overall, the balance between adventure dan comfort was perfect. That’s rare in our circle. This trip wasn’t just a birthday, it was a reset.

We booked Sipakatau Phinisi for a guys’ trip, and wow — exceeded expectations. Kapalnya nggak terlalu besar, tapi layout-nya smart. 6 cabin, 20 guests max, tapi feel-nya intimate. The coral health di sana masih bagus, dan guide-nya strict so we don’t touch anything — respect. Malamnya, kita BBQ di deck dengan local fish and cold beer. Crew-nya chill tapi professional, nggak overbearing. Mereka bahkan set up speaker kecil buat nonton film di bawah stars. Satu improvement: mungkin tambah satu activity kayak diving intro course. The way the sun hits the hull pagi-pagi — photogenic banget. We came for the views, stayed for the vibe.

Crew-nya discreet tapi selalu anticipate kebutuhan, bahkan bawa teh jahe pas aku morning sickness. Satu-satunya thing: WiFi signalnya lemah, tapi honestly, itu mungkin yang kita butuhkan — digital detox. Mungkin next time we’ll extend to 5D4N, karena 4 hari terasa cepat banget. The way they serve breakfast with local pisang ijo dan freshly cut tropical fruit — thoughtful. We didn’t just see Komodo, we lived in it.

The energy di sana… different level. Sore harinya kita anchoring dekat Castle Rock, dan sempat lihat beberapa shark kecil berenang di sekitar kapal — thrilling tapi tetap safe karena crew sangat aware. Kabin superior yang kami ambil cukup spacious, interior-nya classic wood dengan sentuhan modern, tapi personal favorite justru outdoor lounge deck-nya. Malam-malam bisa rebahan sambil stargazing, sambil dengerin suara ombak — no signal, minimal wifi, tapi honestly, that’s the point kan? Crew-nya profesional tapi tetap hangat, seperti keluarga. Makanan setiap hari fresh, mostly seafood lokal dengan sentuhan Mediterranean. Overall, this trip reconnected us — not just with nature, tapi juga satu sama lain.

Sipakatau Phinisi is the kind of vessel that makes you forget your email password — in a good way. Sailing dari Labuan Bajo, pertama kali lihat kapal ini, langsung 'wow, this is design done right'. Di Kanawa Island, kita spend sehari snorkeling dan just floating in that turquoise water. The crew prepare fresh coconut and towels right when you back on board — timing impeccable. Makanan? Chef mix Indonesian spices dengan plating yang elegant — think nasi goreng truffle oil and grilled mahi-mahi with sambal matah. Tapi overall, the attention to detail was what set this apart. Not just a trip — a curated experience. We didn’t need anything, because they already thought of it.
