친구들과의 long overdue getaway으로 선택한 Mosalaki Phinisi는 기대 이상이었다. 15명 정원이라 해도 캐빈 배치가 잘 되어 있어, group dynamics 속에서도 개인 공간이 충분했다. Long Beach에서의 beach picnic은 조식 메뉴도 섬세했고, staff가 일일이 shade tent를 setup해줘서 편안했다. 특히 Rinca Island에서의 trekking 후 돌아와서는 chilled towel와 fresh coconut water가 준비되어 있어, tiredness가 확 풀렸다. 전반적인 service flow가 very smooth했고, evening cocktails가 매일 theme이 달라서 재미있었다. 단 하나, evening entertainment이 조금 더 있었으면 하는 아쉬움이 있었는데, 예를 들어 small acoustic session 정도면 완벽했을 터. 그래도 deck에서의 stargazing은 city life로 지친 마음을 완전히 reset시켜줬고, 그 자체가 하나의 experience였다. crew의 attention to detail—예를 들어 타월을 always sun-dried—가 진정한 luxury라고 느꼈다. 다음엔 가족과 함께 와야겠다.

Gili Lawa에서의 일출 shoot은 조명이 완전히 perfect했고, crew가 조용히 조명 각도까지 신경 써줘서 감동이었다. Batu Bolong 다이빙 포인트에서는 underwater drone shot을 요청했는데, 바로 응답해줘서 큰 도움이 됐다. 5개의 캐빈이 전부 full이었지만, 소음은 거의 느껴지지 않았고, 아이들이 있는 가족도 조용히 쉴 수 있는 layout이 인상적이었다. 다만, 와이파이가 약간 약해서 cloud backup에 약간의 delay가 있었던 게 유일한 아쉬움. 그래도 전반적으로 itinerary가 너무 잘 짜여 있어서, 장비를 챙기고 이동할 때 stress 없이 촬영에 집중할 수 있었다. 특히 chef가 제공한 light Korean fusion dinner on day two는 unexpected but delightful. 다음엔 1일 더 extension하고 싶다.
