임신 7개월 차, 아내와 함께 babymoon으로 선택한 아테이라 피니시는 정확히 우리가 원하던 평온 그 자체였다. Rinca Island에서의 짧은 trekking 후 돌아와 선셋 요가 세션은 몸과 마음을 완전히 풀어주었다. 승무원이 조용히 맞춰주는 herbal tea와 light snack이 매일 기다려졌다. Standard Cabin도 넓고, 침구의 퀄리티가 European hotel급이라 불편함 없이 숙면했다. Bidadari Beach에서 아침 picnics를 즐겼고, drone shot으로 찍은 영상은 평생 갈 보물이 되었다. 다만, 식사 메뉴가 좀 더 customizable했으면 하는 아쉬움이 있었다. 그래도 fresh seafood grill은 exceptional이었다.

Master Suite의 private deck은 tripod 설치에 최적화돼 있었고, early wake-up call도 정확히 원하는 time slot에 맞춰줬다. 다만, charging station이 제한적이어 배터리 관리가 필요했다. 그래도 drone flight permit을 대신 처리해줘 hassle-free 촬영이 가능했다. daily itinerary는 flexible하고 intelligent하게 구성됐다.

생일을 맞아 Athira Phinisi에서 4박 5일 itinerary를 선택한 결정은 정말 정답이었다. 특히 Taka Makassar에서의 석양과 Bidadari Beach의 pink sand는 마치 다른 행성에 온 듯한 느낌을 줬다. 드론 샷으로 찍은 우리 일행의 모습은 SNS 올리기 딱 좋은 프레임이었고, 나중에 돌이켜보면 가장 아름다운 생일 기록이 될 것 같아. Master Suite는 넓고, 침대의 매트리스가 유럽 명품 브랜드 수준이라 숙면에 완전 perfect. 승무원 팀은 은근한 배려가 느껴졌는데, 아침마다 제철 과일로 만든 smoothie를 내 생일 주간이라고 특별히 플레이팅해 줬다. 아이들이 있는 가족은 아니지만, 아이를 둔 지인에게 추천할 만큼 공간 배치와 식사 메뉴의 다양성도 인상적이었다. 조금 아쉬운 점은 와이파이가 오프 더 비치 구간에선 거의 끊겼다는 거. 그래도 디지털 디톡스를 위해 일부러 이런 여행을 선택한 거라 큰 단점으로 느껴지진 않았다. 마지막 날 Loh Liang에서의 트레킹은 무더웠지만, 멀리서 수마트라 바람을 느끼며 숲 속을 걷는 경험은 특별했다. 다음 생일엔 파트너와 다시 오기로 마음먹었다.
